Long-Awaited Updates

8 08 2008

Let me just say that I have a terribly massive headache right now… I got new glasses today, went driving with them on, and went outside without sunglasses AND brand-new prescriptions.  Paaaaaain.

Numero Uno:  NEW PAGES

There are three new pages up on this blog – About the Author, Version One, and Playlist.  Granted, Playlist has been up for a while, but I had to finish it and revise.  Please visit.

About the Author (Or just plain Author, I forget which) is about, uh, me.  Version One is about Zoe and her friends in a similar format to Author.

Numero Dos:  The Jonas Brothers

You know, I couldn’t figure out why in the world Joe Jonas was picked to be the lead role in Camp Rock.

Then I saw the cover of Rolling Stone.

O_o

O_o

…yeah.  Teenage girls everywhere just passed out dead in the streets.

Tell Me What You Want

18 06 2008

Last night, my sister and I went to a concert downtown at our local library.  (Yes, where I live, there are library concerts.  Twice a week.  Although the series we went to is only going on for four weeks, sadly.)

It was pretty cool.

Anyways, enjoy some lovely YouTube videos.  Again, my sister and I probably need help.  Or a life.  I bet these things won’t happen if I go to another concert on Saturday.  =]

Umbrella – Vanilla Sky?

Wannabe – Zebrahead

Walking on Sunshine – Ghoti Hook

Iris – New Found Glory

And now be thankful that I’ve finished torturing you.

Ay

3 06 2008

Finished e-mailing the four packets this morning.

It was a little difficult to do it any earlier, as my mother grounded me from the computer, but all right.  I hope my people enjoy the stories.  In some cases, it was just fun to write them.

My favorite was probably the Alternate Adventures.  There were four, but only three are available.  =]  And at that, all three have been sent, so there.

Anyways, I had the intense urge to listen to random music.  So I went on my sister’s MySpace page and looked at her Bands.  This lead to the discovery of Aerodrone.

Ah, Aerodrone.  Your techno-emo sounds speak to the core of my soul.  Sceneboy speaks leagues and nations to the inner workings of my little teenage heart.  Your spaz-tastic default picture will put me into an epileptic seizure.

Seriously, though, Sceneboy is a pretty cool song.  Check out Aerodrone at www.myspace.com/aerodrone.

Murder!

And this, my friends, is why I love my sister.

Yup.

If you look close, you’ll see both of us in there.

(Songs are not owned by me.  They’re the property of their respective owners.)

Yawn… Stretch.

22 05 2008

So I’m sitting at home, miserably, sick and tired and also hungry, at the computer, reading Stephenie Meyer’s website.  I decided to put a new page on the site.

I bet you all want to check it out.

Anyway, if you like it, drop a comment.  Heaven knows how few of those I get.  Thanks to the random people who’ve left them.  You give me reason to live!

…along with Oreos.  But we won’t go into that.

Well, I’ll tell you a bit about the new page.  It’s a playlist page.  On Stephenie Meyer’s website, she has a playlist for pretty much all of her books.  I’ve had a playlist sitting around on my laptop for months.  But I suppose that I can share it with you all.  Because “you all” is about five people per day.  But I love you, so it’s okay.

Heh.  Okay.  I’ll stopp sounding like a crazy stalker now.

Anyways, since I do have a couple readers, I’ll share the playlist, if only for your own envisioning purposes.  (That’s what I use it for.  Some of the genders in the songs don’t work with what’s going on.  Some of the LYRICS don’t really work, either.

And you’ll notice I have odd taste in music.  Well, my friends think so, anyways.  But they all seem to listen to Guns N’ Roses and Alice in Chains, which I don’t really like, so maybe it’s merely conflict of interests.

Although I must say that Cobra Starship’s Hollaback Boy is hilarious.

P.S. to Jaden: Sure.  That would be fun.  The first half is the only part fit for any human eyes to see, so I can send you that.  Leave an e-mail address or Facebook or something next time.
