Got Facebook?

7 11 2008

So I know that a lot of people who visit this blog are only in it for the prom dresses… but if you’re really a fan, or just curious about what The TECH Project is, do check out the Facebook page for the novel.  [The TECH Project, by the way, is not affiliated with Facebook -- Facebook just hosts the page.]

I’m posting because I just posted six photos on the page.  The photos are of the six main characters of The TECH Project:

Zoe Lee
Gordy Johnson
Maria Aguinaldo
Ian Drake
Juliet Martin
Chloe Sibylle

Each photo comes with an excerpt from the novel about the character and his or her interactions with other characters.  Great way to find out more about them, don’t you think?  =]

Anyways – I would become your eternal slave if you became a fan of the page.  But you’ll have to share me with the rest of the fans.  =D

Lovely, Lovely Manhwaaaaa

30 06 2008

I did some drawing last night.  I know you all would like to see it.

The originals that I copied from:

http://www.koreanmanhwa.com/previews/dorothy01/12.php (Bottom panel)

http://www.koreanmanhwa.com/previews/dorothy01/13.php (Bottom panel)

The two female drawings are Maria, copied from Son Hee-Joon’s character Abee in Dorothy of Oz.  The male character, though it’s hard to tell, is Ian, copied from Son Hee-Joon’s character Tail in Dorothy of Oz.

Oh, yeah.  Go buy Dorothy of Oz.  It’s a cool manhwa series.

Anyways: I’m hoping to draw more today, so expect to see Zoe and Chloe tomorrow.

The Models

1 05 2008

Drumroll, please.

I recently realized that I never did introduce my models. There were a grand total of ten of them at the photo shoot on March 30th, and I can give a brief intro of both the model and the character. It made me super-excited, so… I present them now for your – ah – enjoyment.

First up: The illustrious Zoe Lee.

Zoe Lee

Zoe Lee, aka Purple, is the leader of Team Erie Canal. She is the government’s idea of “the ultimate soldier”: smart, strong, fast, and tactical. She’s also hyper, has a short attention span, and has an overwhelming love for her friends, which kind of takes away from that “ultimate soldier” thing.

As a normal teenager, she pitches softball for one of the city’s leagues. Her team won the local and state championships since she was in fifth grade. Zoe has also pitched for one national game, which her team lost.

During the shoot, she was portrayed by Tiffany M. Tiffany is also hyper, has a short attention span, and has a tendency to jump on her friends. (Another story for another time.)

She was one of the best models to work with. She was in the first group, Version One, that was photographed by Ashley, and her group-mates definitely made her look a lot better by comparison. She’s nice, easy-going, cooperative, and fun to work with!
