Modeling Update???

4 12 2007

All right, guys. The TECH Project may soon be getting some models.

Last week, I went to talk to my cousin-in-law, who’s a lawyer. There was a large discussion involved, but eventually we came to an agreement involving me making up some sort of model release form for the models and their parents to sign (since they’re all minors) to make everything legal. I’m really excited.

So here are the contracts I need and who has agreed to sign them:

  • Zoe Lee, Purple : still waiting, but highly likely
  • Gordy Johnson, Dark Gray : still waiting
  • Maria Aguinaldo, Red : Definite yes (F.C.)
  • Ian Drake, Light Blue : still waiting, questionable
  • Juliet Martin, Yellow : still waiting
  • Vera Icharus, Talon : Yes (J.T.)
  • Daniel Ricky, Digitize : Yes (D.B.)
  • Sofie Beretta, Armsdealer : Yes (D.B.)
  • Tria Aguinaldo, Thunder : Definite yes (C.C.)
  • Amanda Sybille, Stretch : still waiting, questionable

As you can see, there are five different models so far. None of them have signed any release forms yet, but those still need to be made up. (The only one I have is legal and valid, “governed by the laws of England”. Good luck getting that past an American court.)

Any thoughts on modeling?

Writing Update

19 11 2007

The second draft of The TECH Project is finshed!

In other news, I’m working on getting a lawyer to represent me for all my legal concerns. Of course, it’s not ABSOLUTELY necessary, but I was advised to retain legal representation in the case of something going amiss.

I suppose it wouldn’t be very fun to have my novel stolen by somebody who did nothing like the work I’ve done to make it.

The copyright is also going pretty well. I’ll have one by the end of the year, I’m sure, or I will at least have filed a petition for a copyright. I don’t really want to just randomly lose my copyrights… that would also suck tremendously.

Another new fun thing: I’ve added some links to the page. There are a few bands supported on the MySpace page (meaning they’ve added The TECH Project as a friend), including The Ryan Killers, Fly Phoenix, and Riot Like Words. An author, David Louis Edelman, has also added the page. So, in appreciation, I’ve added links to their pages here on the blog.

You’ll soon be getting updates from other people, as well. I’m hoping to soon add another blogger or two to “The TECH Project Diaries”.

In the meantime, comment away!
